I have poor and intermittent internet access. I cannot use any cloud based service. I wish to use Microsoft Office Professional. Can I buy the product as a DVD, so I can install and use it and not have to download the software package? Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I was hoping it might be a version that received no updates and could be operated with out an internet connection. Office does not require internet connection when using, it is the office that requires network connection every 30 days.

Thank you for the replies. This is disappointing and means I cannot used the product. In reply to mr smiley's post on April 27, Retail licenses can be installed from Disc and activated by phone.
